Hey this would be the diff between SSHRC (20k x 1,2,3 or 4 years) and CGS: (35 x 3 years) The application is the same and they sub-divide folks from there. Some ppl call CGS "Super SSHRC"

Hey all, I was awarded CGS. Second time applying, did not make the final round last year. This time I had way more people review my application and applied to a committee that better matched my bibliography (I'm in an Interdisciplinary program). I have a lot of experience outside academia and that boosted my score I think. Keep applying, I know the disappointment is rough. Committee: 767-3A Score: 10.78 / 12 Rank: 5/151 Last funded application: 9.03/12
