I've never held any NSERCs before either, barely have ever gotten any scholarships so I don't think anyone should loose hope based on that! I'm not sure how much undergraduate grades matter

if you've changed your password, on the page that it takes you to once it's all set up there should be an option to sign in (not as an employee, you're external) use the email that NSERC has on file as your username, and the new password as your password!

Also to everyone worrying about the emails, I didn't get multiple emails - I just got one to update my password, no account ID was given, so once I updated it I was able to login using my email (it was my school email and I'm guessing the one they had on file).

I got an email about half an hour ago from NSERC! (of course it finally came when I put my phone away for about an hour). relieved to have gotten a PGS-D - good luck to everyone!! If anyone is interested in more details: committee 169 for ecology & evolution. I applied at the start of the second year of my Masters (currently in the process of transferring to my PhD), no publications out yet.
