  1. Congratulations!
  2. My fingers are crossed for you, @avocadodo, @k101, @T_Rex_215, and everyone else that applied for the Ph.D. and Ed.L.D. programs! I hope you all get the EXCELLENT news from HGSE in the coming days. 🙂
  3. Hi @kimm60776! I'd love to connect with another ELOE applicant! Your application looks REALLY impressive to me. My fingers are crossed for you and the rest of us here to get great news here in a couple of months.
  4. Hi @steph_25! You look like you have an AMAZING profile to me. Fingers crossed for you! What Ed.M. program did you ask for the referral to if it comes to that? Cheering for you to only get great news!
  5. Wish I had an answer to that, @JadedVGC. I was in one virtual session where they briefly talked about doctoral interviews, and I think they said the invites go out in January. It seems really odd that someone would have an invite so much earlier than what they mentioned publicly.
  6. Hoping everyone is doing ok with the last push to get applications in before the deadline. Cheering for each and every one of us here! 🙂
  7. Hi @Max45621! And welcome! I wish I had knowledge to share on the EdDL program, but I don't know a lot about it at all. There have been some HGSE alums that sometimes pop in here, and hopefully one of them will have a good answer for this question. My fingers are crossed for you and everyone else! 🤞
  8. I'm not sure. I just tried it now and it worked for me. Guessing they fixed it. 🙂
  9. I concur with @teacher_by_heart! Your profile seems incredibly strong to me!
  10. I am not finding them tonight on their website, but last year I think they were posted here: https://www.gse.harvard.edu/admissions-and-aid/connect-admissions/events
  11. In previous years, HGSE has had some live virtual events in the fall. I am hoping to go to one of them early on to ask them specifically about this. If it really does help, I will look to take the GRE when I can in order to apply.
  12. The post from @teacher_by_heart reminded me of one of my posts over the last couple of application cycles. Re-posting it here to (hopefully) help others in the future. Huge thanks to @graciasadios and @mjsmith for taking all of the previous years data from folks and compiling it. Also want to thank @DogeCoin for this template, which is what they used in prior years. Program/Concentration: ELOE/No concertation. I have toyed with adding the Early Childhood concentration, and I am still thinking it over. GRE: Have not taken, not planning to take. I have thought about it the last couple of cycles, but never did it. If it would boost my chances I might reconsider. Work experience: Over 10 years as an elementary school teacher in the U.S. I've mostly been a 2nd grade teacher, but have taught everything K-3rd grade Undergrad: BA in Elementary Education Undergrad GPA: 3.3 Research: Haven't done any LORs: 1 from a professor from my undergrad that I have kept in touch with, 1 from my principal, 1 from my superintendent. This first two I have asked them to do new letters for me, and the last one is a different recommender than my previous application last cycle. Other info: If I get in, I would be long distance from my husband for the year. If anyone else has done this, or would be in a similar boat I would love to connect! 🙂
  13. Glad they are helpful! If you come across anything you find helpful, I'd love it if you'd share it here too. 🙂
  14. I'm applying ELOE. Which one are you applying to?
  15. Thank you! You'll have to let me know how things go for you at HGSE this year. So excited for you!
