  1. Hi tomasltc, I'm an international student from Brazil as well and I was admitted to SIPA, SAIS and Fletcher for the Fall '11. Ultimately I decided to go to Fletcher for several reasons, including financial aid, location and quantitative requisites. From the info you provided I can say you have great chances at these 3 schools (I didn't apply to WWS and wasn't accepted at HKS). Neither my GRE nor my TOEFL scores were impressive. Send me a direct message if you want to exchange more information. Regards
  2. Hi prabbit, I'm exactly in the same situation. I have pretty much ruled out SAIS, so I'm torn between Fletcher and SIPA. Half tuition at Fletcher and no funding at SIPA. My mind says Fletcher but my heart says SIPA. I was also admitted at IR/PS with almost full-funding and going there should be the most rational decision, but I think it will badly hurt my career objective of landing a job at an UN agency. I hope I can make my mind soon.
  3. Got accepted as well and probably won't attend, despite the incredible ammount of money they offered me. Right now, without a very compeling argument, I'm torn between SIPA and Fletcher. But IR/PS may come as the viable option if I end up figuring out that the financial aid from Fletcher will be insuficient to convince me to go there. Anyone strongly considering IR/PS because of little financial aid from other schools?
  4. After 11 long days, finally received an answer!!! I'm in!!!! In the last 10%. But unfortunately, with no $$$. I will have a hard time deciding where to go, since I received a good amount of money from Fletcher.
  5. I'm in too!! Fletcher, SAIS and HKS (sadly not even waitlisted, I think IR not Public Policy is definitely my business...) all in the same day! That was so totally unexpected. I'm so happy. But still no news about $$$ from SAIS.
  6. I'm an international student from Brazil. Sent my application in the last minute....
  7. I'm in!!!!!!!!!!! Great news from the first school I heard (SIPA is still freaking me out...). Also recipient of the Board of Overseers Scholarship, which covers more than half tuition!!
  8. I still haven't heard anything and I don't know if I'm going to survive the weekend either =( Since I applied for a full ride fellowship specific for people of country I still have hopes that this is the reason they are taking so much time with my application. For me it's all or nothing..... Good luck to you all trying to control anxiety!!
  9. I haven't read that new post. That's recomforting. Expectations are up, still. How great would it be to be admitted at your birthday? Let's hope for the best tomorrow. Do you guys think that the remaining 35% will be those admitted with $$$, since many of the people already in didn't receive any?
  10. Those of you who got accepted anyone international? I haven't heard anything yet. I'm freaking out.
