First Gen college. International Male Asian student from Nepal. Awards:UGC grand receiver in Masters, semester top scholarships for two semesters Undegrad relevant courses(Overall 65% hard to get high percentages) - Analytical Geometry and Vector Calculus, Algebra-I, Algebra-II, Mathematical Analysis-I, Mathematical Analysis-II, Fundamental of Statistics, Prob. and Inference-I, Prob. and Inference-II, Discrete Mathematics, Sampling Theory and Design of Experiments Grad courses 3.9+ GPA Probability, Statistical Inference, Multivariate Analysis, Stochastic Processes, C Programming, Sampling Theory, Design of Experiments, Bayesian Inference, Research Methodology, Econometrics Work experience. Started working as a SAS, R programmer in pharma industry before Graduation due to pandemic(1.5+) exp. Graduation in 2022. LOR: Expecring 2 strong from professors and one strong from a lecturer No meaningful research experience. Research interests: bayesian, computational statistics, probability and its application. Which universities should be suitable for this profile??
  2. Having done my undergrad in Maths and stats. I then also completed my masters in statistics. But, I do not feel like i understood the subject well enough, although i have tried hard to. So, I want to get into good phd programs for statistics. But, i was thinking it is possible for someone like me from low ranking Uni to get into some decent programs in US universities. What are the things I need to do to get into decent phd programs
