actually driving myself a bit crazy.. i just applied to uw and berkeley. I'm from the bay area and currently living in seattle... ya. end of feb or march... SIGHS did you see the cal stats? brutal.

pretty good, I suppose. GRE really worries me, my score really was not great. just doing the waiting thing...and doing my three jobs! yours????

oh god. youguys have no idea. i applied to cal and uw. (i'm currently living in seattle). I go from being in absolute despair and feeling hopeful multiple times a day. I seriously need a therapy or something.. lol!

that does stress me out a little bit. My stats are all across the board a TINY BIT lower than their medians. but i have had awesome work experience + life. Hm...

i sent in my UW and UC Berkeley ones. (MSWs) Berkeley is due TODAY. My references are being super slow though, so I would not consider my apps done until they send in their stuff. I obviously have not heard back from them since they don't have my references and I sent in Berkeley today. I'm a bit anxious, definitely.

obviously, your numbers are good (Great GPA!). what was your undergrad school? also i think you're gonna have to be a bit more specific about your work experience to get some accurate feedback from peeps here, cuz there is just no way to tell...

I got a very low score on my GRE. Below 1000. I really don't have the time and effort to retake. The rest of my experience is pretty good. UC Santa Barbara grad. 3.5 GPA. 2 years of solid solid social work experience. Great reference. What will my chance be?

I really need help in assessing my chance of getting into these schools: UC berkeley MSW UCLA MSW UW MSW SFSU MSW NYU MSW Here are my numbers Graduate from: UCSB (University of California, Santa Barbara) GPA: 3.6 GRE: Not sure yet. taking it next month. What score should I get based on my stats? Experience: 1 month volunteering in Peru. 8 months volunteering at a significant mental health agency (Almost 25 hours a week). 7 months of full time (40 hours a week) job as an advocate at a mental health &developmental disability residential facility (current), and 3 months as a volunteer at the Crisis Clinic, Washington (current). (total: Approaching 2 years by the time I start school.) Ethnicity: Asian American Born and raised in Korea until 12 years old Disadvantage family Had a different career beforehand (graphic design) Let me know how youguys all feel about this. Thanks!
