UMich update: I was rejected after a long period of silence. It's not a surprise given the lack of interview.

Just got my first rejection from UChicago (socio-cultural). It sucks but to be expected.

I applied to NYU's joint Ph.D. in French Studies and Anthro. It's my top choice, but you need to get into both separately!
