  1. They said it was 270+ when I went to the OASIS conference in September (with 56 spots available + 15 for saskatchewan students)
  2. Ah I see, thanks for sharing! That sucks that that happened, but third times a charm eh ? best of luck!!
  3. Do you mind sharing your SGPA from when you previously applied? And did you ever make the waitlist? Yeah you're right, honestly I don't even want to go to Mac or UofT I just felt like I should just apply everywhere. Or maybe I just want the validation to see if I could get in anyways. But do I really want to donate 100$ to them lol
  4. So true! I'm applying to 6, with the application fees of each plus transcript requests, it'll probably be $1000. I'm debating if I should knock McMaster and/or UofT off my list because my GPA isn't very competitive and my grades for their prereqs especially are quite bad lol
  5. Awesome thanks so much for sharing these!!
  6. How was the CASPER for everyone? Any tips? Mine is next week and I haven't done any prep yet, getting kinda nervous. Also kind of confused about how the video portion works, do we need to do that bit as well or just the written test?
  7. I do the virtual APC group and I haven't had any interaction with an SLP although I'm sure they design the program and activities. I believe its the ACDP group that I think is facilitated by an SLP (tried to get into this one but no space!) But yes I think I'll just keep it as SLP related because it definitely is! Thanks for the feedback!
  8. Question for ORPAS, e.g. for UofT's "volunteer experience in SLP or AUD" should these be only ones where you worked directly with an SLP or AUD or can they just be speech related? For example I included a position with March of Dimes where I work with people with aphasia in a conversation circles, very speech/communication related but there is not an SLP present in the sessions. Wondering if it needs to be moved to "other"
  9. wow okay that is horrible LOL thank you though
  10. For DalhousieU, how do you see the status of your application? Idk where to look to see if my references have been received. ?
  11. I figured it out. So after applying they send you an email with a link to view your application. There it shows you a checklist and gives you the option to upload supporting documents. It may take some hours after submitting to be able to access this because I didn't see this part until today.
  12. For McGill, I've just submitted and paid for the online application, but there was nowhere to upload my CV or transcripts... I thought instructions would come at the end or something but they didn't. Has anyone done theirs?? Thank you
  13. Nevermind, totally missed this. All documents are emailed together as a single PDF. Also non-academic references can fill out the PDF form and email directly to admissions if their email address isn't acceptable.
  14. Has anyone finished Dalhousie's app? I'm confused because I don't see anywhere to upload the letter of intent. Also, just realized my professional reference (which I understand is optional) does not have an email that they'll accept (only goverment/university/hospital emails) which sucks. Something to look out for.
  15. Question about transcripts for UofA. My current and former schools (brock, ryerson) will not issue me transcripts that are downloadable - they all get sent through MyCreds directly to the schools. So there's no way for me to download and upload pdfs of my transcripts to my application. I explained this in an email to UofA asking if it can be sent through MyCreds and they just said nope you need to upload a pdf. So confused about this, does anyone know what to do?
