Just got an acceptance from Columbia University! Still waiting on two more schools but I got into my top two choices so at least the horrible wait is over! Wishing all of you luck!!!

I got my rejection from UC Berkeley PhD last night

I had an interview with NYU but haven't heard back from them either. Also anxiously waiting to hear back from Columbia. Has anyone reached out to them and asked if there are any updates on the decision date? I thought it was today :{

I attend Columbia now and the director said that they will have results out by Feb 15! Hope this helps ?

Just got an email of acceptance from the University of Michigan Joint PhD program in Social Work and Sociology!!! I am freaking out. This was my research school that I doubted I would get into. I am feeling so grateful. Still waiting to hear back from four more schools

I actually don't know where to find the updates, I'm sorry! When I go to the link they sent after submitting my application it literally just says "submitted." So I took that as no update lol. I don't know how people are finding updates on the portals.

That makes sense! It seems like invite a lot of people for interviews. Also, I saw on the main page some people heard from UC Berkeley already! I haven’t heard anything . Welp

I just got an email from NYU director of PhD Program for an interview this week!!! My first interview, I’m so nervous.

I am not sure about the gpa requirements, but I think if you're over like a 3.5 you should be good! I heard back on 1/15! Honestly, the MSW program at Columbia is not as competitive as people think. They actually are one of the social work programs that enrolls the most MSW students! I wish you the best ?

Thank you for starting this !! I know I probably will not hear until mid February but I am constantly checking my email ? is anyone else nervous because they have heard absolutely nothing? I applied to UC Berkeley, NYU, Columbia, University of Michigan and University of Chicago. I attend Columbia right now for my MSW and I don’t know if that will hurt me.
