Hi, if your portal is saying "pending" instead of "under review" I would guess you'll probably be getting a decision in a day or so. I know my portal said pending for almost a full day before showing I was accepted. Also, I've seen posts on here from previous cycles and people said the UMass system can take up to 48 hours to post a response once it says pending.

Hi, I was accepted to UMass yesterday and I'm sociocultural. I know the department just reviewed their applications last week so I would imagine more interviews will be coming soon!

I've seen posts on Reddit where people were accepted to Yale anthro without interviews! I'm not sure how common it is, but it gives me some hope.

Has anyone who's applied to Brown not heard anything yet? I saw a batch of rejections went out today and I've been checking my email and the portal like crazy, but haven't received any news. Just wondering if there are others left in the dark still lol

Hi all! Just joined the thread, thank you for starting it! I applied to Harvard, Yale, Brown, Cornell, UMass, UConn, Rutgers, and Brandeis for the socio-cultural track. Feeling very nervous for these next few months but its comforting to know I'm not alone. Wishing the best of luck to everyone!
