Definitely reach out! The process might just be different. For another school I wasn't considered for aid until I emailed them asking about it so you never know. Good luck!

Just so you know I did get a scholarship in my letter. Could definitely be better lol. Maybe they're still figuring out funding but it couldn't hurt to get in touch and ask.

For anyone waiting, I was notified of my acceptance into MICA's mfa graphic design program and Pratt's mfa communications design today! I was really shocked about Pratt since I hadn't interviewed. Just Boston University left. Anyone heard from them for design??

Just got accepted to Tufts SMFA for graphic arts! Glad we’re starting to hear back

I haven't heard from either so maybe we're not out of the race yet. I'm not particularly hopefully but based on past years Pratt seems to take more time. Fingers crossed.

Wow that's amazing!! Congrats on the sale! I also got rejected from Yale. I mostly just applied for kicks and giggles since I know they prefer applicants with industry experience. Anyways, can't wait for this process to be over. It's difficult to concentrate on my classes when I'd rather just be refreshing my email lol Good luck!

Honestly I'm quite curious as well. I'm coming straight out of undergrad with a BFA in graphic design and it's my first time applying. It seems as though I'm the minority here which surprised me a bit, but I am the only one in my current program continuing to grad school at the moment

To be honest it was kind of a blur it went so fast. Other than a general overview of who I am, the questions were pretty specific to me and my education like how my minor and major connect. The best way to prep besides researching and knowing the program is to review your statement I think.

Hey! I had my interview with MICA GD on Monday. It was conversational and quick but with time for questions. Be prepared to talk about some of your portfolio a bit and your education if applicable. They were very nice so don't sweat it! Good luck!

I have an interview this Friday with the Cambridge School of Visual and Performing Arts, and the only info I got is that it'll be about 30 minutes. I'm not really sure how to prep or what to expect, and I've only done interviews for US schools. I would really appreciate any advice or words of wisdom!

In case you are having the same issue, I emailed the office of financial aid and they are saying that they didn't get my ssn, so they haven't processed my fafsa yet. I'm going to call tomorrow though because that doesn't seem right. I haven't had issues with other schools. Hopefully we can sort this out!

One of them I researched when applying and had mentioned her work in my statement. I really loved her website and the projects she does with students so I went ahead with her. I'd look at their work and see what aligns the best with your work and interests.
