As so far, I only accepted by SUNY Buffalo. Well, I guess I have to go there!

I have just called and talked with Graduate Coordinator of UPitt. They haven't released any of their decisions, and not sure when they are going to send their decisions. I tried to specify the dates, but the coordinator was not happy about it and tried to ask my name. So, I tried not to tell my name and she didn't also tell the date vice versa. I think we just have to wait for it. Anyway, Does anyone got any news from UConn too? I am also waiting for a news from there. I have seen just one result report from Result page, however, I just want to make sure whether the results have been all released or not. Some of application page have been changed but the application status did not change at all.

Claiming Purdue rejection. However, I do not see any rejection calls from results page. Has anyone got rejection or admission from Purdue? I got a notification by an email. So far, I only have SUNY buffalo.

I see some of people sharing results form Boston, whether it is accept, waitlist, or rejection. However, I did not get any of this email. How I think of myself to this? Should I contact to the DGS or the department?

Yes. That's why I would wait for until all things are done. I have several schools to waiting for a decision. I will wait. Maybe I would not consider to contact them right away.

That's why I am going to wait until they are going to offer me a scholarship. What I also heard is that, buffalo usually gives stipend and scholarship in second year to Koreans since they are quite suspicious to speaking abilities. That's what I heard directly from buffalo alumnus. Maybe I should ask them for job placement records.

Thanks for strong recommendation! I will thoroughly search into it. As I searched for recent careers, it has been searched in the website, though it seems not quite recent. Maybe I should ask DGS for more information for that now? Or, should I wait and send it the request little bit later?

The acceptance letter said, due to lack of funds, I am not be able to get teaching assistant and tuition scholarship in this time, however, I will be reconsidered if funding available due to declination. What should I do?

Will this be okay to send right away? I am thinking of sending of my scholarship reconsideration to DGS in mid-February or March, since declination would likely to come. And I don’t know how to ask DGS for what in my email. Any advice? Many thanks!

Claiming SUNY at Buffalo! Email notification came to check the portal. However, scholarship did not been awarded, even though I am thrilled to be accepted! I am looking for a chance that other people who decline the offer with the scholarship and get, since it is still early season for looking admissions decisions. Will I get a chance to be funded?

Oh I see. Since this is my second application, I am quite desperate. Moreover, I did not mention any faculties in SOP in purpose. Some schools, which directly insist to name faculties, I did, but others, I did not. I hope we all get good results. I wonder did WashU announced their all candidates, or just AP/MDs.

Oh my, WashU is already announcing? What I see now, is that all accepted claims are AP and Methodologies. I myself also applied for WashU as IR, can I still think I have a shot for WashU or just give up? I am also get frustrated since schools are already announcing or offering an interviews.

It is really credible information? I am starting to get panic. When will they announce about rejection/wait-list/acceptance?

Now I left only 5 schools out of 17 schools : Northwestern, Georgetown, Cornell, UPenn, Connecticut. I just got rejection from Minnesota and Duke. I want to be think positive but I can't by getting rejections continuously. Should I be positive or start to think for other options?

I hope I can hear something good! I havent' heard anything including interview, still, I hear that there are people who admitted without any interviews. I hope that is me.

I guess I still have a hope for being admitted, really hope so. I guess I have to wait for a longer. IT would be sad if I do not make it to Northwestern, since it's my dreamschool.

I haven't heard any of these schools yet, not even for an interview. Do I still have a chance to be accepted without any interviews? I do not want to think the worst scenario now. I'm really getting nervous. I have applied 17 schools, currently 6 rejected. Still, I have not heard anything from these left 11 schools, including Northwestern, Georgetown, Cornell, Minnesota, etc. Assuming that Georgetown is having an interview for shortlisted applicants, which I also did not hear any information of. Northwestern is sending some applicants for the admission. About Cornell, nothing heard from this forum. Do I still have a chance to be accepted? I am getting really nervous that I cannot even go to sleep well...

Can I ask which field you applied? Also, does Georgetown only accepts those who gets an interview? I haven’t heard anything from anywhere yet. ?
