I was accepted to LBJ and the Bush School (no funding from LBJ, 3,000 a year from Bush). I wouldn't bother with UPittsburgh. Elliot is very competitive, but I would say LBJ is your best option outside of Washington DC. I am over the moon about being accepted there. Its definitely top 10 and is very competitive outside of Texas, not to mention Austin is an amazing place to live. I've lived here for 3 years now and visited family here on and off growing up and I absolutely love it. All my professors treated Bush as if it wasn't even an option for me, which kind of put things into perspective for me. They know what they are talking about.

I live in Georgetown, just north of Austin and I didn't get funding. Not a big deal since my parents really want me to go to UT and decided to fund it, but still disappointed I won't get any fellowships.

no funding for me...man what did yall do to get fellowships...im sad i didn't get anything :-(

Spoke to Mr. Yeary on the phone this afternoon and he said information about fellowships and stuff would be sent out over the next few days. I live about 20 minutes from LBJ, so I'm like can't I just pick it up!!! But hopefully they get it in the mail soon so everyone can make travel plans, etc.

I dont think so...if you look at the email, John Yeary said he would be contacting waitlisted people individually.

You might be on the waitlist.....all i know is that all decisions are supposed to be entered today.

Are ya'll's last names at the end of the alphabet/did you submit applications late?

it comes from the graduate school at UT, the general one, not LBJ...and mine came about 2 hours after my status changed. all decisions will be entered by the end of the week. (friday at 5pm)

No word of funding yet. It will come within one week (hopefully by the end of the week for me since I live in Austin) when we receive our official letter. Although when I downloaded my official letter it said no letter would be sent.

Can anyone tell me how to download the official letter? I cant find it on the status page.

Security, Law, and Diplomacy. I'm actually stunned I got in. I'm going to have to take Stats over the summer now, thats the only down fall :-(

They are sending more out tomorrow, my friend from CA hasn't gotten a notification yet either.
