I haven't heard about the financial aid, I dont think they send it out until Mid May.... I am so excited! I know alot of people going into that program! We should have a good class! what your concentration?

I applied to USC as well... I choose Cal State fullerton. I want to go into adoptions and they had Child Welfare, I also like the area and the PRICE TAG!!!! good luck!

Its a public university, therefore it has a cheaper tuition. Overall for a two year program it will be 16k. Not including living expenses! I will be sending in my letter of intent next week. It beats 80k in JUST tuition at USC. Thanks for everyone listening and putting up with my schenanigans! Best of luck to EVERYONE!

I got accepted to Cal State Fullerton!!!!! I am going to accept their offer!!! <3 4k a semester! WINNING!

They want to see you have done some kind of volunteering or internship within the realm of Social Work. Some schools require a certain amount of hours, look it up. Most will require at least a year long internship.

When they say that the require it, it means they require the GRE. You need to take it to be considered no matter your stats. They may require it because this is their first year of being accredited. Your application will be considered incomplete and won't pass go, without it. If you want to go to Fullerton, you need to take it.

Still no word from USC or Cal State Fullerton. Anyone heard from Fullerton? I found out my application at USC was complete and under review on March 18th and still haven't heard anything.... Should I start to create a backup plan. Fullerton gave me a interview, it didn't go well. Starting to worry all my hard work was futile.

Soooo, I am starting to worry, I completed my app on Jan 11th. It was under review on March 18th. Still no word..... and everyone seems to have already received something. When should I start panicking.....

In the same boat... if you figure it out let me know!

I talked to USC admissions this week, they said the next two weeks we should know...its killin me.

Erin! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!! I hear the FinAid packets will be sent in May.... I had a very long conversation with the FinAid office... if you have any question, PM ME! Also, There are alot of scholarships and stipend that are upwards of 15K per year.... they offer Work study which is 6 1/2k and perkins loans! again PM me if your lost... Shanika! I applied the same time and was notified that my app was under review, therefore I think I will find out in a week or two! Your app should be following suit, if it makes you feel any better! I should be hearing soon! I AM SOO NERVOUS! I hope everything goes well! On a different note, I was contacted by Cal State Fullerton that I have a phone interview next week! Its soo nice to finally be hearing back! <3 D

Hey WXYZ Don't worry a lot of us are worried and haven't heard anything! I jut heard back from USC last Friday.... I applied 2 months ago... don't be pessimistic! Processing is just taking FOREVER!!!

I would love to check that EVERYDAY in anticipation...hahahha Ya, I don't think I should call Amber because it just stated that my application was complete... so there weren't any problems... Therefore I would just be annoying her. Also, we are supposed to hear by April! sooooo 2-6 weeks..... right-is this the time frame everyone has? -d

Hey Everyone... This is a question for those who have heard from USC. I got an email today, confirming my application complete? However, its been complete since Jan 12th???? Also I was just assuming this might be the same email that you guys got when it asked you to fill out the supplemental form for Fin Aid.... Considering I already completed it... it was maybe all of four sentences... Just curious if this is what you recieved? -Dev

Hey Guys, So I applied to a Cal State master program for social work. Here is my problem, I submitted transcripts after spring semester (so the beginning fall) everything was complete. I however, during fall finals had a bout of swine flu and was hosptialized, missing two of my finals. This gave me two incompletes on my transcripts, assuming I made then up it wouldnt be a problem. However! This Cal State's transcript got lost in limbo, and I had to send in a transcript WITH the incompletes on them!!! Does this basically disqualify me being accepted??? I am really worried about it.... any comments?

Hey Everyone, Still waiting on USC and Cal States....Does anyone know if we will hear via Email first? I applied in Jan, but some people are getting acceptances!!!! I feel like I am about to have a system overload!!! How is everyone else holding up!?

its really hard to find these stats, trust me I have looked! Really the requirements of the program is all you will find. You can ask past "acceptance-ies" their stats....if you find somewhere the does show this! Let us know!
