  1. Does the current institution in the award table mean what university the student ANTICIPATES to attend/affiliate with? I’m confused since the NSF GRFP app deadline was very well before the notification dates for many PhD programs. If so, then I find the number of T10 schools listed pretty hilarious.
  2. I'm still waiting on UPenn's Stats PhD, so I'm pretty much waitlisted. Does anyone know how many people historically get off the waitlist?
  3. Just to clarify, this was your experience as part of the 2021 fall cycle, right? Based on this year's website info, it appears that the graduate committee for Wharton is meeting late Feb and early March, so decisions realistically aren't going to be released for another week.
  4. I see. Have you heard back anything from Columbia PhD Stats? I don't know if first round offers have been given yet for that.
  5. Huh, strange. I'm a domestic student if that makes a difference, but I still have yet to receive an update on my application - that is, I don't see a 'decision' under my online application.
  6. doctoral-programs@wharton.upenn.edu , I also just realized the information they provided can be found in the FAQs under their graduate admission page (for Wharton)
  7. I just emailed Wharton's doctoral program, and they said the committee meets late February and early March, with a final decision deadline of late March. Where did you get this (above) information?
  8. Got my Berkeley rejection as well ?, does anyone have news about UPenn Stats?
  9. Got it. Thanks, I'll be on the lookout for am email soon then. Also, how does the waitlist work? If the deadline to make a decision is, say, April 1st, does the committee allow waitlisted people a later decision deadline of a couple weeks (e.g., April 15th)?
  10. Anyone heard back from Statistics PhD for UC Berkeley, Columbia, or Harvard? Still waiting on them with no news.
