Ok everyone, my goal is to make it to Thursday without checking my emails for admissions info and/or logging in to my grad student portal. Would anyone like to do this with me in solidarity?

Question for everyone in here...in your opinion, is it OK to email the schools I haven't heard back from yet and ask about admission status? I'm assuming they are going to be rejections because it's so late and I've heard nothing, but it would be good for my mental health to hear a "sorry buddy probably not" rather than this waiting game. If you think it can't hurt to ask, how should I go about emailing, and what should I say?

Hello everyone, First post. Decided to stop lurking and contribute, lol. Happy to know I’m not crazy in this whole process, and that everyone else is just as stressed as me! Here’s my status on applications so far: 1. Trondheim academy of Fine Arts: radio silent. 2. Oslo National Academy of the Arts: Silence. 3. Colorado State University: mere whispers. Just kidding, nothing actually. 4. New Mexico State University: they reached out to me on 2/17 for an interview request and we spoke on 2/23. Really friendly, and I’m hoping I get an offer, because I think I’d fit in well…so we’ll see! 5. Arizona State University: had a friend who I went to college with get an offer a few weeks ago, but I haven’t heard anything at all. This one is probably a rejection. 6. Boise State University: it’s A Quiet Place over here too. First 2 choices are schools over in Norway, so they are Hail Marys to begin with, kind of in the same way I see a lot of Harvard and Yale apps. How is everyone else doing today? I’m hoping I hear back from another school this week, if not it seems almost certain it’s a rejection/waitlist.
