  1. I spoke to the admissions rep at IRPS yesterday afternoon - apparently the fellowship awards are running late - we should receive some sort of documentation next week.
  2. You had an interview with them? Formal or informal? I received my admissions notice on March 3rd - have you logged on to the application site yet? (that might be a dumb question)
  3. I am curious if anybody has received funding notifications from the IR/PS program at UCSD. They mentioned they would be sending notifications last week, but they also said that the week before as well. Any insight from past, present and future IR/PS students would be great.
  4. The fletcher website has a great overview of what kind of organizations (private, public and ngo) graduates head to after graduation. http://fletcher.tufts.edu/ocs/employmentreports.shtml
  5. I received my waitlist notice in the mail on Saturday (March 26th). Other than that, I had not received any communication from Georgetown. Does anybody know GT's waitlist specifics (number of people on the waitlist, acceptance percentage, etc)?
  6. I was accepted at UCSD IR/PS for fall 2011, but am still waiting to hear about funding. If I was to attend UCSD IR/PS, my concentrations/speciaIization would be international management/international environmental policy and Latin America. I was curious what people's perception was of the education at UCSD at private companies on the East Coast. It seems to be easier to go to work for private companies on the East Coast if you graduate from east coast schools that have perceived higher prestige (GWU, Georgetown, SIPA, SAIS). However, is it just a matter of putting a bit more effort into connecting with east coast companies, or is the actual education perceived differently? Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
  7. has anybody researched how easy it is to apply to the business school (McCombs) during your first year at LBJ? Also, are there any active LBJ students on this board who can speak to the career services department for MGPS students?
