Someone on this forum said they got the email notification last year around 6:55 pm (ADT). So it might not be impossible! I truly am trying to remain hopeful😅

Thank you so much, that means a lot!!! I'm focusing on adolescents because, yes, you are right, most of the research focuses on children! However, research shows that migration during teenage years is much more detrimental on mental health, wellbeing and education than migration during childhood. When you add the trauma that refugees and asylum seekers go through, teenagers are much more at risk to negative experiences!

I'll be researching the school experiences of refugee and asylum seeking adolescents, specifically regarding how racism and discrimination might affect their education (special ed placement, time spent in reception classes, etc.) :)

I believe so! The website is currently not loading so there is no way to know for sure...

I'm sure we are all just so tired of waiting at this point...I checked the extranet website this morning and it's doing maintenance until 12:00 pm today. Fingers crossed it won't be too long afterwards...Also, the CIHR's anticipated date of results release is today...hopefully the SSHRC will be following the same delays😅
