I got the same message. Honestly appreciate compared to some other schools that just leave you hanging. I'm waiting to hear from my last 3 schools. Has anyone heard from SUNY Purchase, Hunter, or New Mexico? Going through past years Purchase and Hunter seem to be around this time so still holding out hope. With NM I'm just assuming people who got interviews don't frequent this board. Going through past years they seem to reach out early and am doubting they would be this delayed.

How was the ASU interview? Did they give you a timeline? I applied to them but did not get selected for interview. Guessing I can cross that off the list but maybe there is still hope.

In the 2021 thread there is someone who mentions that they had heard back from both schools in a post on February 4th & 5th and that the schools had reached out by email two weeks earlier.

Has anyone heard from Wisconsin, New Mexico, or Arizona? Just wanted to check since I have not and going by past year threads they seem to schedule interviews pretty quickly.

Same thing for me. From my understanding UCLA only wants the list of Recommenders and will contact them further down the line if necessary which is another reason I'm considering them last minute.

Yeah I'm a little older than the average MFA student and have a good career outside of arts so I've decided this is my one shot as I don't want to put my life on hold for another year. However, I'm already applying to 12 and when I look at lists the only other school that fits most of my criteria is UCLA which based on acceptance rates isn't really improving my shot. Will probably still submit it this weekend.

All of my applications are complete and officially in. Terrified of not getting into any so fighting the temptation to apply to one or two more schools just to increase my odds.

How long are peoples artist/personal statement? Some schools have word or page guidelines but others don't. From talking to people at the schools it seems like they don't want super long statements so I am thinking keep everything to 1 page no matter the guidelines but I am coming from a non-art background so want to be concise while making sure I hit some important points that might not come across in portfolio and CV.

Hey, I am also applying in photography. Don't have my school list finalized but will be applying to Purchase and Hunter as well. What made you choose New Paltz and Delaware? I haven't heard much about their programs.

Hoping this means the bar for admissions will be lower and scholarships will be easier to get.
