Claiming Purdue acceptance. CP, no interview, email from DGS.
-
claiming vanderbilt rejection
-
I did not, unfortunately. Some programs accept/reject without interviews so I don't get too caught up in it.
-
Looking at other years there are usually a lot more results during the acceptance and rejection rounds. I think they're releasing in batches this year so hope is not lost.
-
There was a Security, Peace, and Conflict acceptance here, but I'm not sure about the rest. I'm still waiting and I'm political behavior.
-
you might have been waitlisted
-
Anyone still waiting on UNC-Chapel Hill in CP subfield?
-
Rejected from UMich!
-
congrats!! did you receive an email from DGS?
-
No one here has claimed UNC so maybe it was by subfield? I’m waiting to hear back as well.
-
congrats!!
-
I know I saw UNC acceptances on the results page but has anyone here heard from?
-
sorry i hear that!! rejection is the worst and i agree as a first time applicant the application process is rough. hang in there! thanks for the encouraging words<3
-
I'm beginning to think that was by subfield, but I could be wrong. Seems like more schools are releasing in batches this cycle!
-
I agree!! It's definitely very unpredictable. Gradcafe helps with that a bit, but programs seem to always try new things.
-
There's not too many on there so just hang tight! They're probably rolling out the acceptances. Good luck!
-
That's interesting. They probably still have different processes across subfields. They mentioned results between 2/5 and 2/10.
-
I interviewed, but I'm CP
-
has anyone in this forum heard from UNC-Chapel Hill?
-
Just remember its not a rejection until they say so! Strong applicants also get rejected if they're not a good fit.
-
I believe the acceptances came in batches a few days ago. You can find some on the results page.
-
There’s three acceptances but they don’t usually send out in batches:/ hoping it’s not real

Hey! Comparative subfield, but I can offer a few insights on my interview. Mine was 25 min long and with two professors on the committee. They asked me about the research I wrote on my SOP both past experiences and also why I want to do research on xyz. They also asked me about past research programs I have been apart of. Hope that helps!
-
Also got rejected from Emory. They don't focus on the region I want so I expected it.

Claiming Wisconsin acceptance!
