  1. Congratulations!!!!!
  2. Even tho Friday isn't over, I want to take a moment to tell you that as we navigate this nerve-wracking waiting period, I just wanted to drop a quick note to remind us to take a breather this weekend. It's easy to get caught up in the anticipation, but let's make a conscious effort to find some time for ourselves. Whether it's meditating, stepping outside for some fresh air, attending a service if that brings you peace, giving a friend a call, or simply watching the wind rustle through the trees, let's do something that centers us. The outcome in the coming weeks may be uncertain, and I get it: rejections are no walk in the park. But always remember, you are more than enough, and looking after yourself should be a top priority. Wishing you all a weekend filled with relaxation and positive vibes. We got this!
  3. Lol, I hope they do! 🙌
  4. Same here. I don't believe in "safe schools," so I applied to some programs like Chicago, Johns Hopkins, and Berkeley that I consider difficult to get into, and others with higher admission rates but that I consider to be an excellent match for my interests (and vice-versa), like Pitt, Rutgers, and UIUC.
  5. Thanks for the info, and congratulations!!!
  6. Unless UCSD sends their acceptances in batches, which seems unlikely, I think it is safe to assume this is my first rejection of the cycle. 🙁
  7. I was wondering the same. I also applied (CP), and I haven't heard anything.
  8. I woke up early today, and it was already posted; there is absolutely no chance they will notify a decision at 4:00 am Pacific Time.
  9. LFG!!!!!!! Congratulations.
  10. I'm losing my mind over this. Assuming these are not trolls, everything seems to go quickly and early in this cycle.
  11. Is anyone claiming Texas acceptance or the Vanderbilt interview?
  12. Yup, I just hoped that person was in the forum to corroborate because, sometimes, there are some very funny trolls on the results pages.
  13. I don't have any tips for you, but in the subreddit r/gradadmissions, you can find tons of information about how to perform well in the interviews.
  14. Congratulations! Let's goooooo!
  15. According to my data, Cornell sends decisions the last week of February, and Johns Hopkins the second week of February. But it might vary.
  16. From the schools I applied to in February, the first two weeks.
  17. Is anyone claiming Illinois acceptance?
  18. Do you mind disclosing which Universities you applied to and your subfield? It's okay if you don't want to, I understand.
  19. WOOOOOOOOW! Congrats!!!! It's undoubtedly super early; wtf hahaha (now I'm wondering if other unis will be this early; I'll die from anxiety).
  20. Hey, Theory007, can you please pin this thread? Please. 🙏
  21. On the "Results" page, you can filter by field. At least PoliSci starts admitting and rejecting in February of every year; I don't know if that's the case for Humanities, but on the results page, you can see how it was in previous years and get an idea.
  22. I've been frantically playing Supremacy1914 because I'm super anxious, lol. How's everyone doing?
  23. The 2020-2021 was a mindblowing outlier! I do not know, but I hope this year keeps last year's trend and applications reduced. This might be wishful thinking, but I hope we can escape the pandemic consequences once and for all, at least in this respect.
