Oh wow really? Cause during my interview the prof said smt like by the end of January... But I guess my interview was super early (Jan 5th) so maybe they decided that they needed more time?

Did you try checking the portal? (there is no email notifying update in portal. Based on info from last year, it seems like the portal changes a day or so before email notifications)

yea exact same thing for me (email indicating waitlist + just checked, checklist is still there).

Got an email from DGS saying that Im waitlisted (UCSD-IR)

did you receive a rejection letter from UCSD? Or is it presumed rejection? Cause I also applied and have gotten nothing so far... (checked portal, still shows up as a checklist)

Just saw the rejection updates from UCSD on the results page. Did anyone else get nothing from UCSD?? Does this mean that we're on a waitlist?

This is also my first cycle so the n is really small here...so far, both of the acceptances Ive got was an email from the DGS. That said, I think for some schools, it is just an email saying that an update is posted (at least based on the posts from last year's forum)

The open house is in-person (mid Feb). The ddl to confirm attendance to the open house is Jan 29th. So I think they'll probably send out all acceptances before that

I don't think they released all acceptances yet but I think the rest should come pretty soon cause the RSVP for the open house is Jan 29th.

The email is from a professor on the committee (did not mention him on my SOP)

Did anyone that applied as IR get interview invitations from Wisconsin Madison? Wondering if they’re just sending interviews for AP…..

Based on the results last year, I think WashU sends out acceptances in batches (saw acceptance results across multiple dates). Not exactly sure how the process works but Im pretty sure the offers so far aren't just for AP/MDs cause Im IR.

I think I'll start hearing back from more schools in late January and will probably get most decisions by mid-Feb

I also got an interview from Duke last week. Applied to Brown too but heard nothing so far….. I wonder if the interview timeline is based on specific faculty members? Hope it doesn’t mean that I’m already up for rejection for brown lmao

Im applying as IR (with an interest in political psychology) and Im applying to around 15 programs (Harvard, Princeton, Duke, Umich, OSU, UW-M, UNC, etc....)

Yea I am SUPER surprised when I got it (direct email from director of admissions). Funding specifics will come later tho (but the email did say that there is a stipend of at least 35K and that there is guaranteed full funding ) I doubt other schools are releasing results this early tho.... the only other update Ive gotten so far is an interview from Duke.
