  1. yess! let's connect over dm. I'm also in painting/printmaking.
  2. thank youuuuu ❤️
  3. yesss. please keep us posted!
  4. same unfortunately.
  5. I don't think the translations need to be notarized. original documents and your translations would suffice I think. Instances for which parental information is waived include: deceased parents, documented abuse that has resulted in estrangement or court-ordered separation, extreme estrangement (parent(s) are not reachable without going through severe measures), or abandonment which resulted in adoption, foster, or other family care. Unwillingness, age, marital status, and other standards of dependency are not conditions for which the School of Art waives the requirement of parental data. impatiently waiting here lol.
  6. have you guys heard from yale's financial office yet? @Beenthereonce @wickedwired @Gamja
  7. I just got into Yale!!!
  8. same what is your medium btw?
  9. lol what does it say after you accept it? i didn't touch it thinking it was just a glitch.
  10. I just saw that too wondering if it's a glitch? does yours say 2023 too?
  11. the interview dates Cornell sent me were in the last week of feb and march 1st. I don't know if that was the only set of interviews they were doing. I think it might be too early to definitively say. hope this is helpful! and either case please don't feel discouraged. one of my ex professors who is a very respected artist today told us once that it took her multiple tries to get into an MFA program. she's had a wonderful career since.
  12. It should be in that pdf document after the acceptance letter. They are listed as separate letters in the decision pdf
  13. my first choice is whoever's willing to give me a full ride hahahha
  14. I got the same email! I think there might be a miscommunication between departments. or maybe on-campus housing is so limited that they wanted to send out that first? Idk.
  15. No, not nervous. Just wanted to know when to expect hearing from them. Also can't wait for the application process to be over so that I can focus on my practice. Are you expecting to hear from them too?
  16. does anyone know when they will send out decisions for Yale/painting?
  17. me showing off my luxury collectibles 20 years from now: -sooo, here is my 2023 rejection letter from UCLA. I paid a pretty penny for this piece.
  18. Congrats!! Did Michelle interview you too?
  19. I don't know why I got so flustered!! I felt like I was a confused undergrad again. I am also coming down with a cold so my focus wasn't there I think. Hope yours goes better!
  20. I got so flustered for some reason and definitely bombed it.....
  21. yes trying to figure out what that means myself lol
  22. ohh ok good to know! I knew Yale was need-blind but thought the school of art was not. thanks
  23. ysoa is not need-blind right? which means you could be rejected on the basis of funding? this is concerning to me because without funding I would not be able to attend.
  24. oh interesting, I didn't get to ask any questions myself there was no time. when was yours?
  25. painting
