Hey all--sorry to be insane by writing again in this forum, but...I'm wondering if anyone accepted into Bard's program would be willing to share their financial aid information. I got waitlisted at Bard, and am thinking about applying again this next cycle, but would love to have a little more insight on the amount of aid they're able to offer. Please DM me if you're open to sharing!

A question from the POV of someone hoping to get off a waitlist: have people been given a date that they have to accept an offer by? Does anyone have a sense of when you’ll decline offers you know you aren’t interested in?

Anyone have a stance on writing to a school you got waitlisted at to express your interest?

Hi, I’m in the same boat. I think there was just one person on here who received a personal email back from Columbia sculpture. Idk if that was an exception, or if that means it’s too late….hoping we still hear back

Oh boy--Idk--I haven't heard anything from RISD sculpture since I interviewed with them. Still wondering if anyone else has heard back from Columbia expanded practice? Also, I believe all departments at Bard are going to send out acceptances this Friday (3/8).

Omg congrats! Was the email from the interviewers? anybody else hear back from Columbia sculpture?

I also did my interview that day! I was super surprised when we got that email like 24 hours before about who the interviewers were...but I think mine went well...I felt good about my answers and the whole thing seemed really quick. Glad to know we may not hear back until the third week of March because that feels FAR AWAY. (But exciting that they told you you'd hear back this week!!)

I haven’t heard back from Rutgers on the interview either! But did just receive an interview request from Bard

I just got an interview request from Columbia expanded practice! (the email says all the interview are on zoom, but when I go to their scheduling page it says zoom or in-person?)

Same here…from looking at last year’s forum it seems like people got notified about interviews in the last week of February, but those who weren’t offered interviews didn’t hear anything back until getting a rejection message on 3/15……

Anyone with a Rutgers interview thinking of going to the in person interview day? (I’m thinking I will but also just asked admissions if Rutgers covers any of the traveling expenses)

Hi, wanted to ask about writing thank you notes following interviews. (Just interviewed with RISD sculpture.) Are people looking up the emails of the faculty members who interviewed them and writing a thank you email to that group?

I'm also waiting on these two! (But sculpture for both.) Looking at last year's forum, it seems like it wasn't until later in February that people heard anything back from Bard. I feel like that makes sense for Columbia as well, since their application due date was pretty late. I feel like I started the anxious waiting process way too early when it comes to these two schools.......

Ugh, huge sympathy for anyone who’s gotten negative emails! I haven’t heard back from any of my schools yet, but the waiting process is such a tough time. Super interesting to hear that Yale takes input from current students. This must be under lock and key because I’ve never heard about this before. Also—has anyone here applied to Bard’s MFA? Or know about their interview timeline from a previous year? I’m wishing everyone here the best. I think it’s now at the point where I’m going to be checking this forum every morning

Bard, RISD, Pratt, Yale, Columbia, and Rutgers! Would love any intel. Where did you get the Feb 4 date for Yale--is that your approximation based on past years?
