  1. Second that and greatly appreciated. I have declined my other offers and only kept one offer and one waitlist. Hopefully there is a chance to off the waitlist. I wish everyone good luck!!!
  2. Know a bit about NYU. They already sent out phd acceptances/ waitlists back in February, some PhD apps were referred to their unfunded MA (status updated last Friday)
  3. Just received Chicago MACSS and NYU MA Politics offer after rejected by PhD apps. Chicago offers offers decent tuition waiver, but will not attend since already have PhD offers. This cycle is almost over. Good luck to those still have pending apps/ waiting for waitlist decisions.
  4. i emailed Notre Dame, will report back if I hear anything from the department.
  5. Thanks for the info! As much as I hope they haven't sent out all results, one admit & two waitlist on the results make me less believe they send results in batches. But you're completely right, we won't know until we get an official notification from the dept. p.s. is it just me or others find this forum starts to have annoying pump-up ads randomly?
  6. oh yeah i saw that too. hope we can get some news next week 🤞
  7. wondering if anyone receive admits from UPenn. literally my last pending app. thanks!
  8. Hi don't give up yet. Cornell usually sends out a couple of waitlists after acceptance then will be rejections. Finger crossed. Good luck.
  9. Thanks. I applied to CP but haven't heard anything from them, might email them later this week. Best of luck with the rest of your apps!!
  10. could i ask if it's the portal update or email from the dept? also applied to UMD but heard nothing yet. Thanks!
  11. i applied to berkeley and haven't heard anything. since they already sent out acceptance and waitlist, i'll consider mine as a rejection (but ofc worth waiting until they actually send a final decision). u can scroll back to early posts in the forum - i believe people claimed berkeley (both acceptance and wl)
  12. a couple of people here claimed Berkeley a while ago back in Jan, not sure abt jhu - seems like some people claimed interviews?
  13. curious if anyone interviewed at Duke but haven't heard anything yet? it seems unusual for them to send results in batches (but could be possible)
  14. i saw two "politics" and two "political science" on the result page. so guess they already sent out acceptances.
  15. claiming penn state. email from DGS, formal letter will come a few days after
  16. If you searched unc chapel hill, there are more results (like 5-6 posts).
  17. last year they sent out acceptance first and then rejections the day after. congrats to those who got in.
  18. Thank you!! Congrats again.
  19. Big congrats!!! You definitely had a very successful cycle so far - hope more good news to come. Could I ask if you subfield IR "security, peace and conflict studies"? Duke's subfield category is a bit unusual compare to other programs. Also interviewed but heard nothing so far (and did not see other Duke posts) - trying to stay positive haha
  20. waitlisted by UIUC. Email from DGS
  21. haha maybe... i did reached out my POI and had somehow positive correspondence last year... but we never know😂. Finger crossed. It's still 4pm in Illinois so probably we can hear back soon.
  22. thanks for the info. hope u will hear good news from other schools soon!
  23. May i ask if it's from the portal? mine is still "awaiting decision". Thanks!
  24. Just for the reference. From last year's posts, all Princeton posts in late Jan turned out to be trolls, they sent out acceptances and rejections at the same day (February 6th). It might be true Princeton sent out acceptances earlier this year ... I personally will be cautious until people claim here. EDIT: Feb 6 for acceptance, Feb 7 for rejection (23fall); Feb 7 acceptance, Feb 8 rejection (22fall)
