Rutgers just sent out their results. Received an email that I have been rejected. Apparently they have a top 30 candidate list and will be conducting a second round of reviews based on that shortlist.

Have all the Rutgers interviews been scheduled? I have not heard anything from them and my application status is pending still.

Does anyone know how many spots are open at CUNY for sociology PhD? I was told that if you're in the top 15 of their shortlist and get an interview then "you're basically in". Was anyone else told that?
