Hi! I thought I would start this for all of us who applied to MDiv programs, as the timelines might be different from other Master's. I personally am waiting to hear back from Union and HDS, the only two programs I applied to! The interview timeline for HDS is worrying me, as I haven't heard a thing and it is now early February. Keeping my fingers crossed for everyone here!
Still waiting to hear from Harvard, Columbia, Yale, and UMich (History and WGS joint PhD). Assuming rejection from UPenn because I didn't get an interview! Edit: If anyone has heard from these programs lmk
This is actually really encouraging to hear!! Duke is one of my top 2 programs (along the other one that waitlisted me) and I need to be reminded not to give out hope
Duke waitlist decisions are out! Not sure about admission/rejection decisions because I got waitlisted lol. Only schools I have heard from have been waitlists so I'm trying to stay at least a little bit positive..
I think it really varies by subfield, I would wait it out and email if you didn't hear by mid-Feb. Don't lose hope yet, most departments have not made final decisions and most acceptances have been unofficial! Edit: Also, I am not in the subfield you mentioned.
Anyone who got interview requests from UPenn: would you mind sharing when you received them and if it was from the Professors themselves? Also what subfields? I am thinking I should expect a rejection since I haven't heard anything.
Hi! I am not that person but also heard from NYU via email yesterday. I had interviews with 2 different POIs throughout the last 2 weeks. I heard from the department administrator and then from the Professors who interviewed me.
I think it really depends on the subfield, I know someone who goes to Yale and did not interview beforehand or contact POIs! (at least that's what she told me lol)
Hi! I am applying to History programs in the Latin American subfield. I was wondering if anyone applying to the programs at Yale, Harvard, UPenn, Berkeley, NYU, or Columbia in that subfield have received interview requests? Do they usually do interviews?
