Putting these two schools together because they're the top 2 nuclear engineering programs. Anyone else here interviewed for MIT NSE recently? I had my interview last week, can't stop thinking about it. I think that it went well but waiting to hear back is so nerve-wracking. Meanwhile, I haven't heard anything from UMich. Has anyone gotten interviews?

According to MIT Biology 80% of interviewed students are admitted. Do you guys think this applies to other courses at MIT, or even other prestigious universities? I.e. If you reach the interview stage, can you say you have an 80% chance of admission? Of course, it depends on your application's strength and compatibility and all that, but assuming you have no information, can you say that about the probability? How do you guys interpret this statistic? How positive should one be about getting an interview?
