I received an email from US Santa Barbara regarding a virtual recruitment session, which is not supposed to be a "formal agenda", but is only a chance to meet with faculty and graduate students. What should I be expecting in this session? Is it going to be sort of an interview based on which the chances of getting into the grad school would be decided? Please share any experiences you might have had with these events.
