Has anyone heard from the media concentration at Rutgers? I’ve only seen waitlist so far and acceptance to the other concentrations they have. I mean this cycle was awful and I’m already thinking about the next one for 2025, but I am still curious

Got rejected from Brown, I was expecting that but still I’m losing hope for this cycle. They told me mid February

Hey everyone, just received my rejection email from Cornell. It wasn’t the best of the fit so I get that.

I’ve seen people being waitlisted, accepted and rejected from both Cornell and Brown and I haven’t heard from them yet. I’m so stressed right now.

Yeah I saw that too but I haven’t heard from them. I also saw an acceptance for the MCM at Brown.

Yes, and my contact there said this: In mid to late February, applicants should hear from the PhD program director regarding their applications. Decisions have not been made yet. i hope this helps a bit. Good luck!

No, I’ve applied to Rhetoric, Media and Publics. And I have no idea if they hold interviews or when I’m gonna hear back. I’m very anxious these days.

Adding here that my contact at Brown said they are doing interviews for the MCM program and told me that if I haven’t been notified that means I wasn’t selected. They received roughly 300 apps for 4 slots. that was one of my top choices 🥲

Hello, international student here. applied to Brown, Northwestern, Cornell, Stanford, USC, Upenn, NYU, CUNY and Rutgers. got already rejected from Stanford and I know Cornell is doing interviews but I haven’t heard from them so far so I’m losing hope for that.
