    Thanks! I’ve been awarded a SSHRC Doctoral Fellowship, but I’m ineligible since I’m am enrolled at a foreign institution. Would SSHRC be able to adjust the award accordingly?

    Could someone clarify the key differences between the SSHRC Doctoral Fellowship and the CGS-D award? I understand that CGS-D scholarships must be held at eligible Canadian institutions, while SSHRC Doctoral Fellowships can be tenable at any recognised institution in Canada or abroad, but aside from eligibility, do they offer the same level of funding?

    Thanks! Last name begins with F, and committee is 5A. Got a 5.08/6 for research potential and 5.07/6 for relevant experience (total: 10.15 / 12). Of the 98 applications the sub-committee reviewed, 42 were awarded funding. I should also mention that I am a Canadian citizen studying abroad, so I applied directly through the SSHRC.

    Scores seem to depend heavily on the sub-committee or discipline. Was offered funding with 10.15/12.

    So UMich sent its rejections & waitlists before any of its admissions?
