I’ve seen a lot of rejection posts for PhD/DrPH programs today, and I just wanted to hop on and share that you all absolutely have and will continue to contribute to the field of public health! I’m sure this news is a disappointment for many of you, but I hope you all keep striving for what you want out of this life!

Great!! Best of luck to you! I did not interview, but from looking at past cycles of applicants, I don’t believe interviews are overly common in this program, unlike other DrPH programs. I believe it’s possible to still be accepted without an interview (I think haha).

Congratulations!! May I ask when you applied for the program? Were you notified over email? I thought UIC would have decisions out sometime in March. Thanks!!
