Finally caved and returned to the GradCafe forums after swearing I wouldn't this year, so, hi all 😅 First off, congratulations to those accepted! And wishing patience to those also in the waiting trenches right now. Has anyone heard from Brooklyn? I'm not seeing anything on Draft... Historically they've sent out acceptances at the end of February, so I'm curious about the silence / convinced I'm missing something.

If you happen to be a Brown playwriting applicant, one of the folks in the Draft FB group reached out to them and they said that they'll be notifying people next week. Not sure if that means for interviews or for full acceptance.

I have tickets for a show tonight that I'm tempted to skip to sit here and keep refreshing... but I should probably follow through and go. I'll be in rehearsals all day tomorrow, thank God, haha. I think some time away from the screens could do me some good... I'm sure I'm not the only one 😵 I took a nice walk and unplugged the other day and felt much more at ease after... at least for a little bit. Wishing you the same, @jadedoptimist!!

Hi all, Received my first rejection of the cycle this morning from Michener. Womp womp. I'm seeing very little info on Draft... seems like that's pretty fiction/poetry-dominated. That being said, has anyone heard anything from the following schools? Boston University Brown Juilliard (Certificate) Northwestern Yale TIA!

Hi all, I've seen on Draft that people are hearing from Michener Center, specifically for Fiction... does anyone know if different concentrations hear at different times, or is it all in one? Just trying to figure out if I should start assuming rejection, haha.

Hi all! I'm a new GradCafe member and Playwriting MFA hopeful. Any other playwriting applicants here? (Not that I don't love all the fiction and poetry chatter! 😉🤍) This is my second time applying. I'd already been through multiple rounds of reviews and an interview by this time last year. This year, total silence. I've applied to Yale, Brown, BU, Northwestern, Michener Center, and Edinburgh (MSc). I've heard from Edinburgh but nowhere in the US. Anyone else seeing different results or are we all in limbo together?
