I know I say this every x amount of days but this waiting is driving me bonkers. I'm totally understanding of why I have to wait, but also, knowing I'll get an answer one way or another on Friday is killing me. It's so close yet so far!

I applied March 30th haha, so maybe! The anticipation is absolutely killing me and I'm going a bit crazy. Mike does seem really nice! I emailed him a few questions and he was really kind with answering them. I'm curious as to how many apps they got since it wasn't really advertised much besides social media. I'm planning (if I get in, whether this or next year--manifesting!!!) to do work in addition to the MFA. Whether full- or part-time I'm not sure, but it's definitely something I'll be doing. I feel like as long as it doesn't interfere with classes in the sense of schedule, I could make it work.

I'm still a bit iffy on the whole thing, especially after that post in Draft. I feel awful for that person and I feel like the school didn't handle it well at all. That being said. I recognize it's a new program and there are going to be bumps. Separately from that, I also worry that if I get in, would it only be for a lack of applicants? I guess part of me isn't feeling confident in my work/sample. But yes, fingers crossed that it'll work out whichever way!

Yeah, a prof I emailed a few weeks back said they would try to start letting people know around April 15th, but I feel like if they're starting to let people know now it may not bode well for me. But I also am an overthinker!
