Thank so much! Alright, I guess I'll reach out to them and request more funding. I was reluctant to do this initially because I had no other offers to earn leverage with, but I suppose it's better to speak up regardless. I'm hoping the best for us both!

Hey guys, I have been accepted to NYU with a half-scholarship (the least amount of funding possible for accepted students) and I'm not sure I can attend without a better funding package. I applied to four schools (Iowa, Michigan, NYU, Johns Hopkins) and have only been accepted at NYU. Is it possible that more funding could come up before the deadline? Does anybody know of students whose funding packages were revised? Thanks a lot for the help.

Y'all think Iowa is finished? Seems like stuff has been trickling in from them pretty slowly

Thank you! NYU is the second program I've heard back from, with a JHU rejection coming in two weeks ago. I am a longtime lurker on this thread, and have been watching it closely with a sinking feeling in my stomach. So if you are reading this right now with that same feeling, I see you. Take some time for yourself. Put your phone down/ computer away and go for a walk. It'll all work out just fine. You will survive and thrive no matter what happens within this process.

I also got this email! They called a friend of mine last week so I thought I had been soft rejected. If you are waiting, keep your head up. You never know when things will change.
