Hello, I heard that there has been a massive change (replacement of professors) at Slade School of Fine art. Has anyone heard of this? If you know of any changes to their curriculum or direction of work since then, please share! There is no information on the internet.😢Thank u

Hello🙂 How is everyone doing during this time? We all did a great job going through this long process. I have a question here. I’m an international applicant, and really need your opinions. My major is sculpture, and I would like to choose between two schools. One is RISD and the other is the UCL Slade school of fine art in the UK. I am thinking of continuing my art career after graduation, but I am wondering which one is the better choice considering the current art scene. (Scholarships are very small, so they do not affect my choice.) If you have any opinions or thoughts on these, it would be very helpful for me to decide between them. Ps. if you're going to or won't join the Columbia Sculpture Department, please let me know! Thank you!

I agree with the comment above. I am an international student, and I have done several interviews, but the place I prepared like a script is completely ruined. Because I was afraid I might not be able to answer it fluently. It is important to prepare an expected question though, but I think it would be much better to just spit out words, and organize your thoughts. It will be a much more natural and interactive with the professor than preparing a typed answer in sentences. Best luck!💥💪🏼💪🏼

I'm also waiting after the Columbia Sculpture interview, but if I haven't heard from them so far, should I drop my expectations? It's my top choice, so I'm anxiously waiting to hear from them.. I just want to know if all accepted applicants receive personal emails or not.😭

Hi, I finished my Columbia Sculpture interview last week, and I'm waiting for the results. Looking at the previous comments, I see some people personally received an acceptance email from Colombia, do all accepted applicants receive a personal emails? Should I consider it as a rejection or a waitlist if I haven't heard from them so far?
