  1. When I asked them they told me they don't disclose that because it changes from year to year. They also said they don't disclose how much they weigh your sub-gpa in comparison to other parts of your application.
  2. Hi guys! I'm looking to apply to uOttawa for Speech Language Pathology and OT. A requirement to apply is to be bilingual in French/English. To apply you need to take the OLBI School of Rehabilitation Sciences French/English language admissions test. I haven't been able to find a lot of information online about it. I was wondering if anyone can speak to its difficulty? If it's similar to the C1 DALF French test? What kinds of questions are on it? Has anyone has found any practice tests / prep for this test specifically? Any general tips / advice for taking this test? Feel free to privately message me if you don't feel comfortable replying on this thread! This is the link to the test I'm referring to if anyone is interested: https://www.uottawa.ca/about-us/official-languages-bilingualism-institute/Language-assessment/tests/school-rehabilitation-sciences-admissions-test Thank you guys so much. Any information is helpful!

  4. Hey guys! I didn't get into any SLP schools this round and I'm planning to go back to my local university to take some more courses to boost the GPA for when I reapply. My academic advisor told me I can apply for a 2nd degree and take courses under this degree so that I can get OSAP assistance, however you don't need to actually finish the 2nd degree. I'm doing this as opposed to just taking courses as a non-degree student, as OSAP does not cover non-degree students. I was wondering if anyone knew if there was any downside to doing this as opposed to just taking courses as a non-degree student? Do schools care/see that you started a 2nd degree and didn't finish it? Any information would be helpful thank you!
