I was just about to post the same! I have also been accepted to New Genres at Pratt and SFAI! I'm from Europe and I have never been to San Fran and I am definately more drawn to NYC than San Fran. But in terms of school structure I like both programs! So yes, has anyone got some good advice?

Hi everyone, I got accepted to Pratt Institute and waitlisted for Columbia. The deadline to send the deposit for Pratt is May 1st. My first choice is Columbia though, but it is uncertain whether spaces will become available and if so, when they will notify. Has anyone experience with Columbia's waitlist? And is it possible to get an extension for deposit deadlines? I don't know what to do ...

They emailed me and stated taht i am ranked high on the waitlist and that they would like to set up an interview in case of people not taking their offers. Not sure how many people they will invite though, I guess it is depending on how high you are ranked on the waiting list! Hope that helps.

25-30k ? Personally I would never go in dept with this amount. Go for the school that gives you full funding, in the end its your own practice that can develop anywhere ..

Hi there, I had my interview for New Genres last Thursday 3/24 and I still haven't heard back from them. I think I saw on some posts that some have received their acceptance call already. I am an international applicant and I really want to know now whether I'm accepted or not! I called the admissions office and they only said that decisions will be sent out early next week.. Ahhhhhhhhhh.. Good luck to everyone!

Oh yes, Städel only has undergraduate, shame though, as the school is amazing. Its director is also the curator of the Venice Biennial and they have amazing artists and curators coming in. I mean, with German art schools you usually decide on a class with a certain artist and if that artist is not German, I don't know why you should be able to speak it. I mean, Städel for example is 60% international and not everyone's German is good. I heard that this one's good also: http://www.hbk-bs.de/en/ But actually, Amsterdam is amazing for art and there is a really good school for MFA's and they teach in english. I almost applied there, but then I got into NYC, so I decided to leave Europe. And Amsterdam is not so far from Germany, maybe 3 hours by car ... Here is the website of the school: http://www.sandberg.nl/ Other than Germany I can really recommend Amsterdam, otherwise the academy in Vienna is good also, but I guess that would be German too..
