    ahhhh, ok. I haven’t been invited for an interview either. But they’ve also mentioned interviews aren’t required so hopefully it’s not an “end all be all” situation. I guess we really don’t know until we know so I’m going to remain hopeful. Of course, it’s normal to now rethink everything in my application LOL but I won’t assume.

    Aww, I’m so sorry about the rejection from Chicago!! Fingers crossed it works out at Yale! so are you saying YDS invites applicants to interview? I didn’t receive an invite or notification from them at all after applying. Since submitting my application, I haven’t seen any follow-up emails on their process or to even potentially look out for more information aside from the financial aid stuff which I completed.

    Hi all, I did an interview also and can’t say exactly how it went but know some are curious. Here’s some general tips: Key Advice: Prep as you would for any interview & review your app materials Relax - it really is just 15 mins & thinking clearly is key so you can be present and answer thoughtfully. Have questions ready for your interviewer at the end. This is for you AND them. If you need more info on something or have a concern, just ask (& maybe practice asking so you do not forget to in the moment). There’s another “prepping for what’s next” call on Feb. 26 so def attend that if possible as the grad assistants chat abt the interview process too. They also have blog posts. If you’ve made it this far, they are interested. Be confident. Good luck!

    Has anyone who applied to HDS (MTS or MDiv) received an interview invite yet?

    I meant just as in recently - received the email confirming my app is being reviewed on 1/27. It said “Thank you for submitting an application to Harvard Divinity School. This is to confirm that we have received all required materials and have begun reviewing your application.”

    That’s where I saw them too. They didn’t seem to stress it so I didn’t prioritize but was just wondering how others felt about them. I presume you’d just outreach to admissions to schedule.

    Did anyone applying to Fall 2025 YDS or any current students, do an interview during the application process? I hadn’t realized they encouraged interviews during application since most schools only do them after acceptance. I know they’re not required. Interested in people’s take on them. I did go to Open House in November and connect with some great folks/speak to professors.
