  9. Anyone hear from MIT yet or know when we will for structures?
  10. At the recruiting weekend they said that funding information will go out by the end of this month. They said if you are offered funding that they would appreciate it if you accept or decline the funding offer by April 15th, other than that if you aren't offered funding I don't think it matters.
  11. Really well, thanks! I'm going to be freaking out here soon, UIUC told us that about 15 of us would get funding of the 25 that were at the weekend.
  12. If your computer is working fine for what you need it to do a cheaper alternative may just be to buy a new battery.

  15. Has anyone who got accepted to Purdue heard anything about the recruiting weekend?
  16. I think it's safe to say you are going to be admitted, eventually. Edit: And before the welcome weekend obviously
  17. Just got accepted to UIUC, via e-mail. "Decisions regarding assistantships and other forms offinancial aid are still pending. We will notify you if a funding offer is made. If you do not hear anything, then your admission offer does not include funding." Time to shine at that recruiting weekend!
  18. As of now my main interests are repair and rehab, risk and reliability, and anything dealing with innovative materials
  19. Not an admit, but I was invited to the recruiting weekend for UIUC Civil (Structural) Engineering Feb 24-27. I'm thinking that sense I got this my chances of being accepted are fairly high! They also asked me to list 3 profs I would like to talk & have an interview with in my RSVP.

  21. Nope, no word of funding yet - I should mention they were only applying to M-Eng (non thesis) as well.
  22. I know a few who have heard back from Purdue MS is structures within the past week or two, but nothing on the other schools or departments.
  23. So Purdue and UIUC's recruiting weekends are both Friday February 25th and Saturday February 26th... ugh, no idea what to do. The academic advisor I was assigned at Purdue said they were very flexible, and I have not talked to UIUC about the matter yet so instead of asking them about their flexibility as well I think I may go to UIUC's on the scheduled date then try and see if I can swing by Purdue on Sunday or Monday. Thoughts?
