    I see. I should have applied for Yale MA . I didnt apply because I didnt get to find enough info that I needed a few months back, but recently I found that info that I needed about the course was actually there! Although this thread is about MTS, I would also like to know if any one is admitted to Yale too.

    I am just curious how big are the classes for YDS's master of religion program? do they only take in one or two students per professor or are they having a bigger class like 20 over students per seminar? Also do they provide funding (merit/need based) for students?

    Just for a reference, do you think they require extremely high GPA in the 1st class tier in Bachelor's degree to admit you for the case of Duke?

    The outlier questions can have many subjective responses. Not sure if they are expecting some responses that are not far from their expected standard though.

    Yeah me too. From previous year's gradforum on HDS, there are people who dont make it through to get the final offer after the interview. Based on the pool of people being interviewed, we can estimate that they have a larger pool of shortlisted applicants than the ones admitted in the end, and probably there some talents who got multiple offers and in the end do not accept HDS's offer as well. I do hope they have kinda reserve list applicants to fill up these slots though.

    I should have trained more in this area. haha. The only thing we can do is to await for the final verdict in mid March. I hope that we can be classmates in coming fall.

    Congrats to you! Yeah for some school's religious studies program, classes are very small with maybe an additional 1 or 2 students each year, and obviously if the school is named, we know who they are. haha.
