Hi guys! So, I'm sitting on a nice A offer, but still waiting for one school to send its decision. I already emailed them rather kindly saying that it's close to the deadline, but they never responded to that. Do you think I should keep waiting or just, you know, forget about them? I must add that the school that's not responding in theory sounds like a better fit - but, obviously, I'm having doubts now.

I'm still waiting for Kansas University, my first choice. I know they've sent some decisions about a month ago, but back then all I got was a confirmation that they received everything from me

When, do you think, would it be appropriate to email the department about the decision?

Has anybody heard anything from Kansas University?

Do you guys think the NWP is going to send out the rest of their decisions today? Or just soon?

So, I think most schools with regular deadlines say they'll send out their decisions by March 15, right? That's next Saturday. So, question is, should we not receive any notification by then, should we email them? What do you guys think?

I wanted to say that you get in, with funding, but then you die in a mass tragedy at orientation, but no, I think yours's sadder

You guys know what I think? I think that the longer a school takes with the decisions, the more money in scholarships they should give.

So, I got accepted to Alaska at Fairbanks, which is great, BUT - waitlisted for TA (and from what I see on draft, so did everybody else), BUT their TA seems... pathetic. They potentially offer 50% tuition remission, so I'd still have to chip in, and less than $25/h with teaching load at 15h/week. So, with such a teaching load AND with classes, AND with writing, there's no way I could keep a job. And I'd have to live off $375/week. And still pay half the tuition. So, sounds great, but does it?

I must say, for the first time in my life, I absolutely hate weekends

A while ago I started an application for the UT for screenwriting - no idea why, never intended to study that, and never finished the app. Just started it, and that's it. But I couldn't delete it. So, as of today, I have been rejected from the program, but they thanked me for the effort I committed to applying 😆 So, to make long story short: Austin made sure to reject me from the program I didn't even apply for. In case you were wondering how badly I'm doing 😂
