There are a couple of options for you to look online. Some of them are: higheredjobs.com; The Chronicle of Higher Education; APA or APS. You could also look at some of the other societies/associations that might be a little more specific for your interests and many of them advertise open positions. I personally used some contacts I had from undergrad to get my RA position. Hope this helps!
I have. Two acceptances and one interview invite out of the 5 masters programs I applied to. I've actually been surprised with how fast they made decisions after the deadlines. Much faster than the doctorate programs I applied to.
This time last year I had applied to 10 schools and had been rejected by at least 1 school and was extremely nervous about the rest. This year I applied to 12 schools and have had 2 positive responses so far!
I'm doing a cross-country road trip with two of my closest friends! A great break before starting grad school (and one of us finishing up grad school and starting a full time big girl job!)
You change your signature under your profile. I get to it from My Settings at the top of the page where it shows that you are signed in. I hope this helps!
I have applied to one school in HDFS. I am interested in the effects of family relationships, particularly how non-related fathers in the house or no father effect children. I have mostly applied to psych programs, but there is a professor I really wanted to work with who was in the HDFS dept.

I got an e-mail this morning saying to check the website, but when I do it still only says submitted. And when I go to the application it just says that applications for Fall 2009 were taken down on December 31, 2009, though I applied for 2010. Anyone else having this problem or have suggestions for fixing it?
I have not heard a thing from any of the programs that I have applied to after saying that my applications were complete. I wish they would hurry up and let me know, but I don't expect anything for another month or two.
I have to admit, I am kind of enjoying not hearing. When I looked at the results page earlier I saw that one person was rejected from one of the programs I applied to and went to look for my own and had nothing. I am taking no news as good news!
