Hey guys, I applied several policy program in Asia and Europe, and got in some programs: 1, U of Copenhagen, master of global development, new program, and offer me first year scholarship to cover tuition and stipend; 2, Just got an email from LKY in NUS, I was in Mater of public policy program for two years, no infoirmation about the funding, but I ask whether they would offer me support. 3, CUHK two programs , I would reject these to somebody waiting. Which one would be more promising? NUS LKY Pros: dream school with location in southeast asia, which my future career goal to condcut my work; maybe one of best policy program in Asia Cons: no funding information, but I would confirm; maybe less famus then U of copenhagen? U of Copenhagen Pros: first year funding. more international closer to western world, Cons: total new, I would be the second class in this program, no promise for future career PS, I also got in some MSW program in last year, but defer. I would say no to it.

There some amazing museums and art centers nearby campus from internet research, but some one say Cleveland still trap in recession and maybe some one have inside substantial feeling. I actually applied in 2011 and got some scholarship but no enough for me, so I continue to work and try to find out what I can do best. I plan to reapply however the school have no my profile any more. Abuse concentration sound reasonable for me, but I am not sure its future. I am little confused of your words " it can't read you personal statement if you need."

While bear in mind that mpp or mpa require high score and sound experience, I was extremely concern what kind of working experience matter or make you standout from hundreds applicants? I have 4 year full time position in NGO practice until now, 2 year in HIV/AIDS, I.5 year in housing(right now), 0.5 year in Leprosy recover and all my practice in china. At the same time, provide consult (paid) to local government from 2013, and casual consult to grass root( start up) community base organizations(CBO) from 2012. Also a fellow of a workshop on citizenship and social innovation in Harvard U, organized by a student run organization. My question as follow: 1, did it significant matter or not of my consult to local government at city level, and to grassroot CBO? 2, attending some related seminar help application or not? 3, how to standout from application pool? you may know chinese applicant usually could not tell their story good as those western. while I have not confidence to get in HKS, WWS or yale, I would try to fight. Do you have any commend for international applicant like me? I hope to hear more from you. And I hope these no bias against chinese or any nationality, race, or color.
