  3. Hey Guys Got through LBJ with 5k$ per semester . I am an international applicant [ Computer Science Engineer with 1.x years workex , India ] I want to come back to India after my graduation . I dont mind working in US for 1-2 years after the course though. 1. My concern is regarding the job opportunities back home in India after the MPAff degree. 2.Also, Is it difficult for international students to get jobs in US after the MPAff degree? Also, will my background and zero relevant work experience be a problem? 3. With 5k$ per semester, I will need to pay for living expenses/medical insurance etc. How easy it is to get a TA/RA or a job in campus? Even without the course fee, I think I would still need to take bank loan from here Other Offers : IPS(JHU) - 21,000$ , Heinz - 7,000$ for first semester ( for other semesters depending on performance) Pardon my poor knowledge regarding this I dont know a single soul from this part of the world who did Public Policy I did get through some Indian Universities for masters degree . So having trouble deciding which is the better option. May be I should do Masters in India and come to US for my PhD degree.Thats what I am thinking now @coffee_fan, you got 10k$ per semester from LBJ ?? Wow...congrats Looking forward to hear from you guys

Can mention only this : was chairperson of a community service club in college, received their award for best Member at National level(India), and organized free health care camps and stuff ( Not much, I know 1.I want to do policy studies and not development studies but focus on issues affecting South Asian countries. 2. Another concern is funding IDS - Univ of Sussex, SOAS - Univ. of London, Univ of Manchester , LSE , University college London will these places provide enough funding? Or do US univs provide more funding? Considering my zilch relevant work ex, let me know 1-2 safe univ in US I can apply with chances of funding Pls let me know..
