I also just got the news on Friday that I was awarded a Doctoral SSHRC. I have been on the waiting list for 3 years in a row, and thought I didn't quite have it again. But Friday, an email came with the good news. I am hoping they back-date it to May 2010 so I will get a lump sum as soon as possible.
