Feeling the same way. I got rejected from one school WAY early, which sent me into freakout mode, but also helped me discover a really rad program sorta last minute. I submitted a completely different portfolio etc to that school as a result. It ended up being a positive in a way, even if I'm convinced that none of the first five applications I sent in will possibly accept me.
It could take a while for them to update it. For some of my materials, it took several weeks for my department to input what I'd sent them. I called to double check that my application was complete, so you should prob just do the same to be safe
If any of you guys can give advice on HOW to transition as well, that'd be awesome. As in, how'd you find a new place to live, how'd you find a job, how'd you go about meeting people in your new environment, etc
