Got an email from UT Austin today, was admitted to the Ph.D. program in Educational Psychology department with the concentration in Quantitative Methods. Will receive official letter soon, no word on funding yet.

Phoenix Rising, same story but UCLA was my 7th choice in the list and I am in at 4 other which are upper on the list , so who cares , but it is a good school with one of the best urban campuses I have ever seen.

just received an email from Columbia TC to check my status, I am admitted to the PhD program in Human Development, Measurement and Evaluation. No work on funding.

once you are admitted they will send a letter with the fellowship info, sometimes they send a fellowship letter separately from the acceptance letter. UT Austin has a really good School of Education. Good luck on you application.

This week might be the week they are planning to notify of the decisions. Do you have any info about funding there?

hi rhonechica, If possible, I think you should wait until you get an official decision from HGSE in order not to regret. You might need to learn by what date you should respond to the offer from BC and plan appropriately. What program in BC are you in? I was also admitted to BC and other two programs but I am waiting to get decisions from all of them (including HGSE) and then come up with my final decision. Best

i am seriously considering going there, right now thinking btw Cal and Penn, waiting info on funding from CAL.

Just got a package from the Penn GSE, they said I am in. Happy. Anyone else got news from there?

I hate New York, especially if you are driving, parking tickets, traffic, etc.. San Diego would be my top, weather is great, you can drive to LA or Tijuana. But public transportation is not as good as NY's, you will need a car. Chicago is great but weather is horrible, Seattle is great too.
