  1. Daniel - I am so glad to hear you got in!! I didn't end up getting a call today...so I'm a little bummed. But am glad to hear at least one person I met yesterday made it! CONGRATS!!!!
  2. Rejected at University of Washington for mfa photography. Grrr. Two rejections. Two to go. Have smfa interview Saturday so hopefully I can wow them!
  3. Is anyone else as stoaked as I am? Stoaked here meaning terrified? LOL Good luck to everyone, and hopefully we'll meet each other on Saturday! :-)
  4. I'm still waiting *anxiously* for word back from U Washington. I did get a rejection this morning from the University of Illinois - Urbana Champaign...sort of caught me off guard. But, on the upside, I'm flying to Boston for an interview at the SMFA this weekend. Fingers crossed!!!
  5. Just got a rejection email from the University of Illinois....Sort of a bummer, but they weren't my first choice of schools. I am in good company apparently as I've seen a couple of others get shot down for the MFA program. Oh well, at least I have 3 other schools I'm waiting on, plus an interview at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts this weekend! :-) It's UIUC's loss! hehehe
  6. I'm right there with ya, no word from RISD. But March is coming quick...the month of reckoning right? :-) Fingers crossed for ya! (for me too! lol)
  7. Congrats on the interviews everyone. I landed one at the SMFA as well (photography) so here's hoping we all get good news afterwards right!??!
  8. Yay! Landed an interview with the SMFA on March 5th. WOOT! Still waiting word from RISD, U of Ill. and U.W. Although UW did send me an email from their financial aid office.
  9. Hey Everyone! First of all, I just want to say good luck to all of you! I wrapped up my applications last week...man am I glad it's over. Its my first time applying for grad school, so hopefully something good will happen. I ended up applying to: University of Washington, University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana, RISD, and SMFA. It was an experience let me tell ya. I got my BFA almost 6 years ago, so it will be very interesting to see if the committees think my work since then is up to snuff. Now, it's just the waiting game...I suck at the waiting game. LOL. Quick question - do any of you have an exhibition history? I know that my applications required a resume/CV (which I assume is standard practice across the board) and I was sort of sad when I had to submit mine. I've been working as a freelancer and had some studio gigs since I got my BFA, but haven't had any luck landing a gallery show. How about you guys and gals?
