A few friends of mine who applied to the same department that I did but a different specialization started getting acceptances. Is it that all the decisions in a department are made together by the same committee or are the decisions for different specializations in a department made separately? PS. Sorry if this question tied a knot in your head . But this is a genuine doubt that I have.

similar situation with the no responses...........still waiting for MS decisions in ECE to be turned out. I'm climbing up the walls........... too bloody restless.... ..i can attribute my hairloss to tearing them out.....but i think i'm just balding ....... I hope i get some responses from colleges soon.......

Oh man...this thread echoes my sentiments exactly! Its quite irritating waiting for the decisions to come out when you log into the grad cafe survey page everyday and tons of other people are getting admitted. Is it true that PhD admit decisions are made before MS admit decision? All the admits seem to be PhDs.....i've applied for MS in ECE....... i hope it comes out soon.......i'm tearing my hair out!!
